This guy plays a really mean harp with a distinct style. One of the few guys today that I can recognize in a few seconds when I hear him play.
And his vocal work is at least parellel to his playing. He can REALLY scream those high notes as if his vocal chords were a harp itself. This man has got a real GRRRRROWWL!
Deserves more exposure and credit as a musician. Oh and he's a really nice guy too! He gave me a helping hand when I needed some help on the harp before. Thank you Indiana Pheonix, you're awesome!

February 24th 413There's a blues jam on Wed nights starting around 8p at Q's BBQ in Cherry Creek. I think it is as 3rd and Detroit Street. It's pretty fun and a fair number of harp players show up. On Sundays, there's a blues jam at Ziggie's. I haven't been to that one yet, but it is hosted by Papa Juke...so, I would think there would be harp players there. I plan to check it out soon. I'm still a fairly new player, and I've only played in public once...but I hope to venture out and start playing more. peace...Cricket

I want to be friends with ANY Harmonica player that wishes to be friends. I am so in love with playing Harp that I want to have a better understanding of what makes all us players do what we do...so I figure having a slug of Harp playing friends can only expand my horizons and give me lots of opportunity to share the music. And his vocal work is at least parellel to his playing. He can REALLY scream those high notes as if his vocal chords were a harp itself. This man has got a real GRRRRROWWL!
Deserves more exposure and credit as a musician. Oh and he's a really nice guy too! He gave me a helping hand when I needed some help on the harp before. Thank you Indiana Pheonix, you're awesome!
